V3 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Today we will be installing our V3 straps.

We know this is our LEFT strap because the “L” in “ROYAL” is at the end of the strap as shown here.
On the RIGHT strap the “R” in “ROYAL” will be at the end of the strap.

Make sure you have everything you need. In the case of our new V3s, you may not need pliers, but they are recommended to make installation hastier.

Since this is our LEFT strap lets begin by laying it down just how it would if we were on our bike.

To make sliding the strap through your pedals easier, before installation “taco” the strap between your fingers. This makes it narrower and easier to get the first part of the strap in the pedal.

“Taco” the end of the rear strap (with the logo or Hypalon synthetic rubber) and simply fit it inside of the pedal. You can “taco” the end, put it in a little, and use pliers to pull it through.

Make sure when going through the second opening that your strap fits in the whole completely before pulling on the tabs with pliers.

This is what your strap should look like with just the REAR strap installed.

Let’s slip the FRONT strap through except on the inside hole of the pedal closest to where the crank would be.

This is what your strap should look like when you both straps through the pedal.

Before you slip your foot in, adjust the pedal, and lay the Velcro strap down, make sure to curl the ends of the straps to keep them from coming up while riding.

Always make sure to align your straps and to ALWAYS press on the ends of the straps while moving them side to side in order to help the Velcro adhere the best possible and to keep the straps from coming undone.
ENJOY THE RIDE!

You’re all done!  Size your straps to fit your shoes and Ride safetly!
